Request reason:

I am not Atlantic Deep whoever that is. I have not even made an edit so how can one even block a person when they don't even know who it is. This just seems paranoid blocking new user accounts for no reason. I was going to contribute to this wiki but oh well I won't bother now. Just talk to the blocking admin and tell them to not block new users that haven't even made an edit yet otherwise you could be blocking people who could make great contibutions to this wiki.

Decline reason:

Well, since we didn't got any reply from you, we've to assume that the account belongs to the known vandal and we can't unblock then. For more information see James' post below. -- Barras talk 20:49, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You were blocked based on checkuser evidence that linked your account to AtlanticDeep's. As I am not a checkuser and am not privy to said information, I will get the attention of the checkuser who blocked you and allow him to weigh in. Please be patient. Do note that checkusers can see more than just your IP, however, so if you are lying it will be quickly found out. Cheers, Lauryn (utc) 15:46, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Spiteclear, unfortunately the technical evidence very much makes it appear that you are editing from the same location and computer as someone who has caused alot of problems on this wiki as well as Wikimedia projects (such as Wikimedia Commons and the English Wikipedia). It was in a search (that happened to happen shortly after you created your account, but was not done because of the creation of your account) for more accounts created by this user that we found yours and it matched the information that the Vandal used. The reason the account was blocked even though it had not edited was because this user has been know to create accounts and let them be for a while before coming back and using them to cause problems.
If you are not the user may I ask from where are you editing (home/school/work/library/coffee house etc) and what type of computer (i.e laptop/desktop). If you are indeed editing from the same location but not the same person I am willing to take your word on that. Of course if you we see you causing problems down the road (which I am not saying you would) that make it appear that the original block was correct you would be reblocked and any future requests would be denied.
