Vera Miles (born August 23, 1930) is an American actress, now retired. She worked closely with both John Ford and Alfred Hitchcock. She is known for her role as Lila Crane in the Hitchcock classic Psycho, and in the sequel Psycho II. Her other popular movies include The Wrong Man, The Searchers, Follow Me Boys!, and The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.
