Vila Velha (Portuguese for "Old Village") is an Brazilian city in the state of Espírito Santo. In 2020, 501,325 people lived there and its area is 210.23 km².

Vila Velha is the oldest city in Espírito Santo. It was founded as Vila do Espírito Santo ("Village of the Holy Spirit") on 23 May 1535 by Vasco Fernandes Coutinho.
