Vladimir Tsirelson (Kharkiv, USSR; born March 3, 1948) is a Russian scientist known for his works in quantum chemistry, crystal chemistry and chemical bond theory. He is one of the pioneers of Quantum Crystallography. Professor and holds the Quantum Chemistry Department at the D. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia. His works are cited more than 3000 times, h-index=28.[1]
