Waverley is a town in South Taranaki District, New Zealand. It is located 44 kilometers northwest of Whanganui, 17 kilometers east of Patea, 10 kilometers west of Waitōtara and are all on State Highway 3. It has a primary school and had a high school that shut in April 2007. It is the home of racehouse Kiwi that won the 1983 Melbourne Cup.
