Wikan Satriati

Wikan Satriati (23 June 1975 – 25 April 2021) was an Indonesian children's book author. She was a publishing manager at the Lontar Foundation.[1]

She graduated from Gadjah Mada University. She worked in publishing at the Lontar foundation. As a translator, Wikan translated Harry Aveling's classic study of Indonesian poetry, Secrets Need Words, Indonesian Poetry, 1966-1998 (2001).[2]

She also actively wrote children's books. Among her works are Stepping with Bismillah (2006), Ahmad and his Little Sheep (2016), and the Good Habits and Character Building series (2018).[3]

Wikan died in his hometown of Magelang on April 25, 2021 due to complications from coronavirus.
