Reviews

  • I haven't seen you around too much, but having reviewed your edit counts and 100 most recent edits, here is my opinion at this time. First, looking at your edit count, it appears you have spent a lot of time working in your user-space. Of your ~700 edits, you have made ~260 (37%) in user space and ~230 (33%) in user-talk-space; a total of ~500/700 (>70%). You have only ~160 edits in main-space (23%). Looking at your most recent edits, it appears most of your main-space work is either reverting vandalism or adding categories. While both of these are important ways of contributing to the encyclopedia, and I encourage you to continue reverting vandalism when found and adding appropriate categories when needed, you should try to expand articles more. I'm glad you are contributing to RfDs, as this is an important place for users of all kinds to get involved. I'm a little puzzled by some recent "reverts" that you have made. Why would you change a local redirect to a soft-redirect to en? Or remove good faith edits without saying why? Other reverts you have made appear to be done correctly, but do try to use the [revert] button only for obvious vandalism rather than to remove good edits that are not correctly formatted. In those cases, try improving the contribution rather than reverting it (as appropriate). If you have any questions for me, do not hesitate to ask. I encourage other users to add additional reviews. In summary: Keep up the good work in vandal fighting and try to contribute more to articles than user-space. Regards, EhJJTALK 18:53, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • I echo the concerns of EhJJ, but I also think that your reference work (especially working with your wikiproject) is very good. I encourage you to keep working on articles, and reverting only when it is clearly vandalism, and an edit summary is not necessary. 85 edits (more than 10% of total edits) to your userpage is a bit much and having a low userspace count is part of the criteria for adminship. Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I am particularly pleased with my edits to the Apple Inc. articles as I think I have expanded them quite a lot.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
No, I haven't been any edit conflicts at the moment, and no editors have caused me stress. If they did something wrong, I will report them or put a notice on their talk page. I will take a short WikiBreak if I am particularly annoyed with an editor.
