Yūko Takeuchi (竹内 結子, Takeuchi Yūko, April 1, 1980 – September 27, 2020) was a Japanese actress. She was born in Urawa, Saitama. Her career began in 1996. She was best known for her roles as Tomoko in Ring (1998), Miss Sherlock (2018) and in FlashForward (2009–2010).

Takeuchi committed suicide at her Tokyo apartment on September 27, 2020 at the age of 40.[1][2][3][4]
