The 1933 Atlantic hurricane season started in the Summer of 1933 and ended near the end of Fall in 1933. 1933 was the second most active Atlantic hurricane season on record. The number of storms in tied with the number in 1995. Only 2005 had a higher number of storms. Before 1950 storm did not get a name. This means that they were givin a number instead of a name. Also note that there could have been more than just 21 storms.
