A Beautiful Mind is a book and an Academy Award-winning movie set in Massachusetts and New Jersey. It stars Russell Crowe, Ed Harris, Jennifer Connelly, Christopher Plummer, and Paul Bettany. It is about the mathematician John Nash, who won a Nobel Prize in Economics, and his experiences of schizophrenia. The biography was written by Sylvia Nasar.
The book was published in 1998. The movie based on the book was released in 2001.
