Alborz mountain range

Alborz ( also written as Alburz, Elburz or Elborz), is a mountain range in northern Iran. Its borders start at Azerbaijan and Armenia in the northwest of Iran and reach to the southern end of the Caspian Sea. The mountain range ends in the east at the borders of Turkmenistan and Afghanistan.
Tehran, the capital of Iran is at the foot of the Alborz mountain range.
Mount Damavand, the tallest mountain in the Middle East, is located in this mountain range.
