Anastasius is a male given name. The pronunciation of the name is [ an-uh-stey-shuhs, -shee-uhs ].[1] It is from the Greek ἀνάστασις (anastasis) meaning "resurrection".[2] Its female form is Anastasia. This is a unique name (not in the top 1000 newborn names in the US in 2021).[3]
