Asamoah Gyan (born 22 November 1985) is a Ghanaian football player. He plays for Stade Rennais and Ghana national team. A striker who mainly plays the role of first striker, Asamoah is a quick and agile player who proves to be particularly dangerous on the counterattack and in the open field. He has a good feeling with goals thanks to his ability to choose the right timing of insertion and his skill precision. He is widely considered to be one of the best Ghanaian and African strikers of all time.
