Barbara Stanwyck (July 16, 1907 – January 20, 1990) was an American actress of movie, stage, and television.

In 1999, the American Film Institute named her among the Greatest Female Stars of All Time, ranking at No. 11.

She was awarded the Golden Globe Cecil B. DeMille Award.
