Bill Battle

William Raines Battle III (born December 8, 1941) is an American college athletics administrator and football coach. He was the athletic director of the University of Alabama from 2013 to 2017. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama. He coached the Tennessee Volunteers between 1970 and 1976.

In August 2020, it was reported Battle was hospitalized for COVID-19.[1]
