Bitter almond cookies

Bitter almond cookie (Turkish: Acı badem kurabiyesi) is a traditional Turkish cookie.

It is made of bitter almonds, sugar and egg whites and topped with almonds. Its paste contains almond extract. Bitter almond cookie is similar to macaroon.
