California's 36th congressional district is a U.S. congressional district in California. It is in the eastern part of Riverside County and is in the city of Los Angeles.
The district has the communities of Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Indio, Coachella, Rancho Mirage, Desert Hot Springs, Indian Wells and Cathedral City in the district.
The district is represented by Democrat Raul Ruiz.
