Catherine Simone Avnet Lazarus (April 26, 1976 – December 13, 2020) was an American writer, comedian, and talk show host.[1] Lazarus was best known as creator and host of the Employee of the Month, a monthly comedy show and podcast filmed live at Joe's Pub in New York City.[2]

Lazarus died from breast cancer at her apartment in New York City on December 13, 2020, at age 44.[3]
