A Cheerleader is a person (nowadays usually a woman) who does cheerleading, or leads cheers. This is usually done as a group, to keep the spirit of a sports team up.

This sport is originally from America, USA, and it was first seen in the beginning of 1900. It was, and is still used to support a local sports group (for example football)

The cheerleaders often wear short skirts and minitops while dancing.
