Recognized for its capabilities in attack surface management, dark web monitoring, vulnerability management, and asset monitoring, it serves various cybersecurity functions. The platform aims to help organizations manage and mitigate cyber threats effectively, providing tools to enhance their cybersecurity posture.

The company’s growth was further fueled by securing seed funding[13] in 2019, which supported the expansion of its product offerings. In 2021, Cyble introduced AmIBreached,[14] a dark web search engine designed to help individuals check if their personal information has been compromised.

Cyble continued its upward trajectory with a $10 million Series A[15] funding round in 2021, which enabled further innovation and expansion. The following year, in 2022, Cyble launched Cyble Hawk, an AI-powered proactive cybersecurity investigation platform specifically designed for law enforcement agencies, governments, and federal bodies.

The company updated its flagship product, Cyble Vision, to Cyble Vision 2.0 in 2022, incorporating advanced artificial intelligence features to enhance the platform’s threat intelligence capabilities. The same that year Cyble entered into a Threat Intelligence Contributor Partnership [16]with VirusTotal. By 2023, the company successfully raised $30.2 million in Series B[17] funding, which was earmarked for advancing its artificial intelligence capabilities. Also in 2023, Cyble launched the Cyble Partner Network (CPN), aimed at fostering collaboration across the cybersecurity industry.

Analysis[change | change source]

Exposing Major Cybersecurity Risks in Solar Industry[change | change source]

In June 2023, Cyble reported the discovery of over 130,000 internet-exposed[22] photovoltaic monitoring and diagnostic systems, highlighting a significant cybersecurity risk in the solar industry. These systems, crucial for managing solar installations' efficiency and integration with the electric grid, could become targets for cyberattacks, potentially leading to serious consequences like reduced energy production and system instability. The vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and outdated firmware associated with these systems could make them accessible to threat actors.

Malware Targeting Indian Taxpayers[change | change source]

In October 2022, Cyble conducted research revealed the resurgence of the Drinik malware,[23] which targeted Indian taxpayers. The malware, initially detected in September 2021, has evolved with enhanced capabilities to evade detection. It tricks victims into downloading a fake income tax refund app, which then steals sensitive financial information.

Detection of Info-Stealing Malware Targeting Indian Air Force[change | change source]

In 2024, Cyble detected an info-stealing malware targeting the Indian Air Force.[24] The malware, distributed via phishing emails, was designed to extract sensitive data from browsers. This event highlighted Cyble's ability to identify and analyze sophisticated cyber threats, reinforcing their role in protecting national security interests from complex cyber attacks.
