Danny Boyle

Daniel Boyle (born 20 October 1956) is a British movie director and producer. He was born in Radcliffe, Lancashire into a working-class Irish Catholic family.

Boyle's movies include Shallow Grave, Trainspotting, A Life Less Ordinary, The Beach, 28 Days Later, Millions, 28 Weeks Later, Sunshine, Slumdog Millionaire and 127 Hours.

Boyle won BAFTA Awards for Shallow Grave, Trainspotting and Slumdog, Academy Awards for Slumdog and 127 Hours and Golden Globe Awards for Slumdog.
