"Deutschösterreich, du herrliches Land" was the national anthem of Austria from 1920 to 1929.[1][2][3]

The words of the song were written by Karl Renner, and the tune was composed by Wilhelm Kienzl. The anthem after ir is "Sei gesegnet ohne Ende", and the anthem after that was "Land der Berge, Land am Strome", which is currently the country's anthem.

This song is also used as the march song of the Austrian Armed Forces, and the anthem of the President of Austria.
