Land der Berge, Land am Strome (Land of the mountains, land on the river) is the national anthem of Austria.
Some people have said that Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart wrote the music used for the national anthem. Now people think Johann Holzer (1753–1818) wrote the music.[1] Paula von Preradović wrote the lyrics. She is one of the few women to write lyrics for a national anthem.[2]
