Dominique Dawes (born November 20, 1976 in Silver Spring, Maryland) is a retired gymnastics performer. She won multiple medals and was a member of the Magnificent Seven during 1996 Summer Olympics. She was also a ten year member of US National Gymnastic Team. She was the first African American to win an individual Olympics medal for Artistic Gymnastics.
