The East Caucasian tur is a caprine in the goat (mammal) family. They live in the eastern half of the Greater Caucasus mountains, in Azerbaijan, Georgia (country), and European Russia. Their diet is mostly of vegetation.

The tur is said to be near threatened on the IUCN Red List.

  • Their summer skin is short and sandy yellow, with dirty white underparts.
