Google Play is a platform by Google. It is a online store for music, books, movies and Android applications.

Before the founding of Google Play, there were 4 different stores by Google:
- Google Music
- Google Books
- Google Movies
- Android Market
On March 7, 2012, Google announced that it will put these 4 services into just one, Google Play.
