Greater Anglia

Greater Anglia is a British train operating company that provides local, suburban and express passenger rail services from Liverpool Street station in the City of London to destinations in northern and eastern areas of Greater London and parts of the East of England.

Services (Southend & Metro)[change | change source]

Monday-Saturday:

  • 6 trains per hour between Liverpool Street and Shenfield calling at all stations.
    • 2 trains per hour between Romford and Upminster calling at Emerson Park only.
    • 3 trains per hour between Liverpool Street and Southend Victoria, two trains per hour calls at Stratford, Shenfield, then all stations to Southend Victoria. One train per hour calls at Stratford, Romford, Shenfield then all stations to Southend Victoria.
    • 3 trains every two hours between Wickford and Southminster calling at all stations.
    • Additionally there is an hourly rush hour service on Monday-Friday service between Liverpool Street and Shenfield calls at Stratford, Harold Wood and Brentwood.

Sunday:

    • 2 trains per hour between Liverpool Street and Shenfield calling at all stations.
    • 2 trains per hour between Liverpool Street and Southend Victoria:

One train each hour calls at Stratford, Romford, Gidea Park, Harold Wood, Brentwood, Shenfield, Billericay, Wickford, Rayleigh, Hockley, Rochford and Southend Airport. One train each hour also calls at Stratford, Maryland, Romford, Gidea Park, Harold Wood, Brentwood, Shenfield, Billericay, Wickford, Rayleigh, Hockley, Rochford and Southend Airport.

    • 3 trains every two hours between Wickford and Southminster calling at all stations.
