Jeffrey Skinner (born May 16, 1992 in Markham, Ontario) is an NHL ice hockey center for the Carolina Hurricanes. He was picked by the Carolina Hurricanes with the seventh overall pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. He played in the OHL with the Kitchener Rangers. He was currently the youngest hockey player in the NHL during the 2010-11 season.

  • He was a NHL All-Star in 2011 becoming the youngest All-Star selection ever in the four major North American sports (baseball, basketball, American football, ice hockey).
  • He won the Calder Trophy in 2011.
  • He was named Sporting News Rookie of The Year.
  • He was named The Hockey News Rookie of the Year.
