John Olsen

John Wayne Olsen AO (born 7 June 1945) is an Australian politician, diplomat and lobbyist. He served as the Premier of South Australia from November 1996 to October 2001. He was the leader of the South Australian Liberals from 1982 to 1990, and again from 1996 to 2001. He was also a Senator for South Australia between 1990 and 1992.
Olsen was born in Kadina, South Australia. He married Julie Abbott in 1968. The couple have three children.[1]
