Julie Bindel

Julie Bindel (born 20 July 1962) is an English writer. She is a lesbian[1] and radical feminist. She lives in Crouch End, London. She is a freelance journalist. Her work is often published by The Guardian. Bindel edits Gaze: A Modern Review.

She became involved in feminism in 1979 as a teenager in Leeds. In 1990 she started Justice for Women with other feminists.
