Mike Gibson (27 May 1940 – 23 September 2015), nicknamed "Gibbo", was an Australian sports journalist and television presenter. He was an original presenter of Nine's Wide World of Sports and hosted The Back Page on Fox Sports for 16 years. He retired in 2013.

Gibson was born in Sydney, New South Wales. He was married to his wife Helen from 1959 until their divorce in 1989. He had five children.

Gibson died on 23 September 2015 at his Central Coast home in New South Wales. He was 75. He had depression and his death was ruled a suicide.[1]
