"Promises" is a 1999 song by Irish band The Cranberries and is the lead single from their fourth studio album Bury the Hatchet. It topped the single charts in Spain and went to the top 20 in Canada, Ireland, Greece, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Scotland, Switzerland, Norway and Iceland. It was the only single to chart in the United States.
