Rupert Alexander Lloyd Grint (born 24 August 1988) is an English actor. He is best known for playing the character of Ronald Weasley in the Harry Potter films. In early July 2009 it was announced that Grint had fallen ill due to a mild case of swine flu and had taken a few days off from filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.[1]
