Sara Gilbert (born Sara Rebecca Abeles on January 29, 1975 in Santa Monica, California) is an American actress most famous for being Darlene Conner in Roseanne. She has guest-starred on many primetime programs such as The Simpsons and Will & Grace. She was in the cast of The Big Bang Theory. She is a vegetarian. She is openly lesbian and was in a relationship with Allison Adler from 2002 until their relationship ended in 2011.[1] They have a son born in 2004, and a daughter born in 2007.[2] She has been in a relationship with musician Linda Perry since 2011. The couple became engaged in April 2013.
