Seth Adam Meyers (born December 28, 1973) is an American actor, voice actor, screenwriter, producer, television host and comedian. He is best known as the former head writer for NBC's Saturday Night Live (SNL) and hosted its news parody segment Weekend Update. He currently hosts the NBC talk show Late Night with Seth Meyers, which premiered on February 24, 2014.[1]

Meyers was born in Evanston, Illinois, and was raised in Bedford, New Hampshire. He is of Czech, Austrian, English, German, Swedish, and Jewish ancestry.[2]
