A shoe is a piece of footwear. Shoes usually come in pairs. A shoe is also an item of clothing. There are many different sizes and colors of shoes, like orange, brown, navy, pink, yellow, scarlet, mauve, black, vermilion, white, beige, cream etc...

There is also another type of shoe called Trainers. Their main purpose it to make running, walking or jogging an easier task by making the weight of the shoe lighter and the sole of the shoe softer.

Slippers are a kind of indoor shoe. They are often used when it is cold. Shoes keep feet comfortable. People wear them for various reasons: like wearing shoes to a party or for hygiene reasons.
