Sidney Crosby (born August 7, 1987 in Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia) is an ice hockey player for the Pittsburgh Penguins. He was the top pick in the 2005 draft. In his second season, he won the Art Ross Trophy. His nickname is Sid the Kid.
Sidney is a Stanley Cup Champion, winning it in 2009 with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
He got the game-winning goal for Canada in the 2010 Winter Olympics in overtime against the USA and in doing so won the team the gold medal.
