Star Wars: Starfighter is an action video game. It was published by LucasArts and was developed by LucasArts and Blitz Games, with Secret Level Inc developing for the PC and Xbox.[1]
The game was released on February 21, 2001 for the PlayStation 2, November 15, 2001 for the Xbox, January 22, 2002 for Windows, and on April 28, 2015 for the PlayStation 3.[2][3][4][5]
In the game, the player pilots a starfighter and shoots enemies down alongside a group of three other pilots. The player tries to stop the invading enemies from destroying the planet of Naboo.[6]
A sequel titled Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter was released on March 11, 2002.[7]

The game was given positive reviews from game critics. Critics said that they liked the multiplayer missions, graphic, controls, and sound design. They also said that it was one of the best PS2 games in 2001.[8][9][10]
