you forgot hawthorne height, from first to last, jimmy eat worl, jets to brazil, ice nine kills and bands like that

The list of bands on this page is only an example of Emo bands. It is not and should not be a complete list of all Emo bands in existence (past and present). If a list of every band is needed, an article should be created as List of Emo bands and that could be linked to from this article. For now, a list of 10 bands is more than enough to give an example of Emo. This is especially true when all but one of the bands on the list (new and old lists) were red-linked to non-existant articles. -- Creol(talk) 00:02, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

emo culture?[change source]

Hm... Maybe we should explain it is a slang term, as 'emo kid' is a common insult now. Misaki-chi 00:32, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism and Not Simple[change source]

The 2nd part is not simple, obviously. I speak English as a native language and I don't know what 'thatch' means. I've bolded words that really need to be replaced

It cannot be refused that they favour an inpenetrable thatch of dark hair, of which a great portion physically blockades the right or left eye ball. They are also known for their suicidal disposition.

Coming from a person who had an "emo stage". Everything is true, and the words are extremely simple, and German and Dutch were my first languages. Still, I'll replace them, and propose protection. --'Choos'nink TALK 02:28, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Examples of Emo Bands[change source]

I have removed this section from the article, cause it is probably POV and none of the bands had pages on them so it is not helpful. I have also noticed some unsourced statements like "Jocks and Chavs, dislike Emos, often with no reason.". Oysterguitarist 23:54, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That phrase, and similar phrases, were most likely vandalism. And as far as I know, at least one of those bands isn't usually considered emo (MCR). With the changes you made, I don't see any more problems with NPOV. --Isis§(talk) 00:01, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re-Write?[change source]

I find this article very difficult to follow. It lacks clarity and purpose. It probably requires a re-write from scratch. //You, Me and Everyone Else (talk) 00:42, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
