"The Riddle" is a 1984 song by English singer-songwriter Nik Kershaw and is the title track to his second studio album The Riddle. It went to number 3 in the United Kingdom, Portugal and Ireland, number 6 in New Zealand and Australia, number 49 in Canada, number 12 in Finland, number 19 in the Netherlands, number 18 in France, number 10 in Italy and number 5 in Sweden and Norway. It was covered by Gigi D'Agostino in 1999.
