University of North Carolina at Asheville is a co-educational, public liberal arts university in Asheville, North Carolina. The university has about 3,644 students. It was founded in 1927. The current chancellor of the university is Anne Ponder.

Sports[change | edit source]

The athletics teams of the university are called the Bulldogs. They have 6 varsity teams for men and 6 for women, most of which compete in the Big South Conference.
