Welcome, Wikipedians, and so glad to have you here. I only wish to make changes that improves the compatibility and accuracy of the Simple English Wikipedia. I wish I could write an article about the religion and pantheon of Reiki, but there are sources that deny the religious status of Reiki and the English Wikipedia regards Reiki as a pseudoscience, a term used to define paranormal arts that do not comply with scientific standards -- although I consider the "healing art" to be validated by quantum physics.

I am a therapist and cybernetic biologist. The word cybernetics means the branch of biology that pertains to intelligence and is not always considered to be computer science. With a diverse knowledge that spans the globe, I am willing to help make Simple Wikipedia useful in learning the English language for children, non-English speakers and ESL students. (In case you need to know, ESL means "English as a Secondary Language.")

Writing is my hobby. I am willing to make any changes that may be used wisely in this subset of the English Wikipedia, and my need to understand English more often is acceptable in my case. As stated before, I specialize in a branch of biology that pertains to intelligence, my expertise is not limited to human behavior. I am speaking of how the mind acts in all living creatures. I am a biologist, not a psychologist. My job is to understand the nature of cybernetics, and computer science is rerouted to engineering. If there is a need to look further, I may be of some help.

Now, I am not always here in Wikipedia. I donate my time to help Wikipedians make the encyclopedia easier to understand and hopefully more useful. The article on Reiki in the English Wikipedia is vague and biased, so it would be difficult to understand. We must do something about it. Now I am not a librarian nor a good webmaster, but I love to read and would read anything. Reading is an art, and the art must be done by users into whom should donate to Wikipedia.

My lack of information science expertise is my weakness, so please bear with me. I only need to help with writing an article about Reiki and hopefully someone out there is also a Reikist expert. Now if I was to describe Reiki as a religion, it would take up numerous pages, and no one can write an encyclopedia article alone. The problem is that Reiki practitioners deny the status as a religion, so even if one is identified as a Reikist, the spiritual nature is held as religious. Reiki is also a pantheon, hence the paradoxical dilemma of religious identification.

Nonetheless, thank you for your time to read this and to be acquainted with me. I am willing to help with questions regarding the nature of an encyclopedia. It must be reminded that encyclopedias do not have all information regarding the world at hand but is useful in understanding the nature of information science. Just keep in mind that an encyclopedia article is brief and cannot always be comprehensive. Reiki as a healing art and Reiki as a religion are two different subjects, so an article on the religion should say Reiki (religion) and perhaps reroute to the term New Age. Many blessings.
