Marriage

Hello. I have reverted your changes to Marriage (union of a man and a woman vs. union of two people). While it has historically been the case (abd probably still is the case) that most marriages occur between two people of opposite sex, this does not have to be the case. Denmark, Belgioum, the Netherlands, Spain, as well as other countries allow same-sex unions they call marriage; Switzerland, and probably other countries allow same-sex unions (that are not called marriage though). We might also need to be careful. Islamic law allows a man to have up to four wives, in Senegal, about 47% of marriage involve multiple partners (probably wives), polyandry (one woman -serveral men) and group marriage (several women, several men) also occur, but are less common.

Hello, I have not reverted your changes to marriage, but I have protected the page for a week (meaning you will ont be able to do any edits there) - I will add an NPOV template ot marriage later on, but refrain from edits. Please note that I (and probably most other admins) consider pushing ones own opinion a bad thing - grounds for blocking (Which I will not do, since i am acrtively involved here). --Eptalon (talk) 17:04, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Here we go - another battle in the culture war. Yes, same sex marriage is made up. It is not marriage. That is the consensus of of history and civilization. Yup, here we go again.
