Khufu[change source]

Hi Teneniel, I have removed the QD from the page you started on Khufu. You had made a reasonable effort to simplify the original enwiki article. I have put a note on the talk page to show that the article is based on the enwiki article. The template for this notice is this: {{Enwp based | url= (add full address here) }} Articles that are exact copies are usually quickly deleted (QD) for two reasons. One is they break copyright - so the template givws proper credit to the original article. The second reason is they are often too complex, and need to be rewritten, as you had done. To be fair, it was an ip that started it with "Khufu has a pyramid named after him", lol. I just thought that since he is an obviously notable person that I would work on it. Thanks for telling me about the copyright problems and the template to show that an article is based on the English Wikipedia article and also thank you for the decline of the "qd" =). --Teneniel (talk) 01:36, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
