Hopeful, eager, and ready to start helping others with articles, stubs, or just basic cleaning. On my user page I have listed some of my "goals" for the project, including reverting vandalism and whatever else I can help with. So, hope to work with you all, try to make any blunders in my editing, and just thank you for welcoming me to the project.

Talk pages[change source]

Talk pages are usually used to talk about things that need fixing or that are wrong or that could be improved on articles, categories, templates, and the such. If you want to talk to particular users, please use their talk pages. User talk:Razorflame is my talk page. User talk:TheSneakyRaccoon is your talk page. Thanks, Razorflame 09:12, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Razorflame, I would have told you earlier but wasn't sure, so I backed off and used the talk pages of the Greece related articles instead. I, know I blunder quite a bit but trying to go more slowly in my process. When I attempted to post a new comment section on your talk page, I couldn't access it due to "vandalism" I guess that happened recently enough to your talk page that you requested that at be, I forget exactly if it's semi or fully protected from editing new talk comments. So, that's pretty much why I left comments on the Greece related geography articles talk pages. Hope you can get back to me sometime and we can figure out how I can leave a new message on your "talk page". Thank you. --TheSneakyRaccoon (talk) 09:17, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Overlinking[change source]

Hello TheSneakyRaccoon and welcome to SEWP. Just a quick note on your recent edits. We really don't need virtually every other word in an article linked, especially if those links either don't exist (e.g. terrorized) or lead to a disambiguation page. For your interest, it may be worthwhile you look at some of our best articles, called very good articles to see how much we expect to link articles. Also, you appear to be marking each of your edits as "This is a small change" while the edits you make clearly are not minor. Could you please switch this setting off (you're either switching it on manually every edit or it's set on always in your settings). Cheers. The Rambling Man (talk) 11:10, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, The Rambling Man, no my settings I haven't even changed. I know I "overlink" everything way to much. It's a "bad habit" I have taken hold off of. Sure, I'll take a read of the Very Good Articles to see what i'am doing wrong, but you have pretty much explained everything into a simple explanation. I will try and follow your directions to the best of my abilities. Thanks. --TheSneakyRaccoon (talk) 11:15, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You're still marking every edit you make as minor. Please either stop selecting the "This is a small change" checkbox each edit, or check your "my settings" then select "Editing" then make sure "Mark all changes small by default" is not checked. Thanks. The Rambling Man (talk) 13:06, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

TRM, i don't understand, due to the fact i never have touched my settings i rarely even look at them. So, I just wont check mark off the minor change box, is that good for now? --TheSneakyRaccoon (talk) 13:09, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That's fine. A minor edit (a small change) is like correcting a typo or making a letter small instead of capital. Creating a stub isn't! Cheers. The Rambling Man (talk) 13:09, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Um, hi, TheSneakyRaccoon! Nice name. I liked your article on Ester. You spelled it right, though: my name is Esther, but it doesn't have anything to do with the chemical Ester. It's from the Bible: you can see the article on Esther. ^^ Anyway, thanks for writing to me! If you would be so kind as to honor me with a reply, please do so on my talk page so I can see. Yours truly, Classical Esther (talk) 12:46, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oh no, too bad, the article on Ester just got deleted because it didn't have enough information. Oh, well. I'm glad it was made anyway, since I got to know you. Goodbye&Happy New Year! Best regards, Classical Esther (talk) 12:48, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Example of a minor change[change source]

Here is an example of a change that should be marked "minor". All I did was change the letter z to the letter s in the spelling of canonisation. I hope this helps some. :) ···Katerenka (討論) 13:23, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, Katerenka that is a very "minor edit". Perfect, I think I understand to my fullest ability. --TheSneakyRaccoon (talk) 13:25, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your creations[change source]

Hello there! You created today lots of articles. I deleted nearly all of them per our WP:DP:deletion policy. As I said already on my talk page, it is better to create one good article instead of creating 100 not useable stubs with partly wrong/unencyclopaedic information. Please keep this in mind and do not create articles en masse. If you do this again, it could end in a block. --Barras talk 15:33, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"do this again, it could end in a block.", Now, Barras I would not like that. --TheSneakyRaccoon (talk) 15:39, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I can't read the WP:DP:deletion policy, Barras. It's a red link must have been misspelled or something. Think you could help me out with getting that as actual text so I can understand more clearly of what is going on? Thank you. --TheSneakyRaccoon (talk) 15:42, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Try deletion policy TSR. The Rambling Man (talk) 15:42, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I will and thank you, TRM. Barras, I think TRM got something for me, thanks though. --TheSneakyRaccoon (talk) 15:44, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's fine, Barras no harm done. Thank you. --TheSneakyRaccoon (talk) 15:50, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppetry[change source]

I must say that I am very disappointed. :-( If you would like to change this encyclopedia, there are certain policies and guidelines that you have to follow. Abusing multiple accounts is not the way to get unblocked. ···Katerenka (討論) 04:40, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry to say that I agree with Katerenka, Please do not think that this is the end however. If you wait a bit and ask to be unblocked (on which ever account you want to use as your main account) and are honest then you can be unblocked and welcomed back. If you have any questions please let us know, I will leave this talk page open as your last active account. James (T|C) 04:47, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
