Violetta Villas (born 10 June 1938 in Liege, Belgium, died 5 December 2011 in Lewin Klodzki, Poland) was a Polish and international singer, actress, composer and songwriter. Her voice was a coloratura soprano which spans 4.7 octaves. In 1960s she was the star of revues in Paris, New York and Las Vegas.[1]
