Wahid Hamed (Arabic: وحيد حامد; 1 July 1944 – 2 January 2021) was an Egyptian screenwriter. He was born in Minya al-Qamh, Egypt. His career began in 1974. He was best known for writing the screenplay of Terrorism and Kebab (1992), Ma'ali al Wazir (2003) and The Yacoubian Building (2006).

Hamed died on 2 January 2021 from a heart attack in Cairo, Egypt at the age of 76.[1]
