The 2012 Northern Territory general election was held on 25 August 2012 to elect all 25 members of the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly. It was conducted by the Northern Territory Electoral Commission (NTEC).
The incumbent Labor government, led by Chief Minister Paul Henderson, was trying to win a fourth term in government. However, they were defeated by the Country Liberal Party (CLP), led by Opposition Leader Terry Mills.
