2021 Ghotki rail crash

On 7 June 2021, a train crashed into another near Daharki, in the Ghotki District of the province of Sindh in southern Pakistan.[1] It killed 65 people and injured over 150 others.[2] An express train derailed onto the other side of the track, and a second express train crashed into the first roughly a minute later.[3]

There were previous major train crashes in Ghotki District in 1991 and 2005.
