8HevXII b
8HevXII b (originally marked LXXVTS 10b; Rahlfs 943b) is a manuscript of the Septuagint written on parchment in scroll form. This scroll is dated between 50 B.C.E. and 50 C.E. It is a manuscript containing a fragment of the Biblical Book of Zachariah 8,18-9,7. It was found in the Judean Desert in the cave of Nahal Heber. This fragment is also numbered 943b on the list of Septuaginta manuscripts according to Alfred Rahlfs classification.
This manuscript contains a tetragrammaton in the following places: Zec 8:20; 9:1(×2), 4.
The manuscript was published in Supplements to Vetus Testamentum, Vol. X, in 1963.[1] The original designation of the scroll comes from the abbreviated name of the publication in which it was published (LXX - manuscript of the Septuaginty; Vetus Testamentum, Supplements volume X, scroll b,).
This manuscript is kept in the Rockefeller Museum in Jerusalem (8HevXII b).
